At NCG we encourage families and loved ones to play a vital role in the care of the people we support. We work closely with family members to ensure their relatives are provided with the best possible care and give them peace of mind knowing that their loved one is valued.
NCG is committed to developing support initiatives specifically for families. We understand that relatives are a core part of the support network and value their insight into the specific needs of the people we support. By working in partnership with family members, we are able to provide personalised care plans that achieve the best possible outcomes for their loved ones.
At NCG we involve family members in all major decisions, listen to their needs and concerns, and offer them additional support when it’s needed. They are welcome to visit and are encouraged to get involved in care planning, everyday activities and setting positive outcomes with the individual. NCG host regular social activities whereby families can spend quality time with their loved ones and share their experiences with others in similar situations.
Our managers, nursing teams and care staff regularly consult with relatives and encourage them to provide feedback on our services and discuss any concerns they may have. All comments and suggestions are reviewed by the service manager who will then create an action plan accordingly. NCG makes it a priority to work with families to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
