National Care Group are happy to announce that we have signed up to the Time to Change ‘Employer Pledge’.
By signing this pledge, we have shown that we are committed to work towards having an open, supportive and non-judgemental workplace to benefit all our staff.
One in four of us will experience a mental health problem and 9 in 10 say they have faced negative treatment from others as a result.
By choosing to be open about mental health, we are all part of a movement that’s changing the conversation around mental health and ensuring that no one is made to feel isolated or alone for having a mental health issue.
Our plans to change how we all think and act about mental health include:
• A dedicated page on the intranet entitled Mental Health Awareness
• Established a Well-Being Network to spearhead awareness of Mental Health within the Workplace
• Working with a number of employees to support them to become Mental Health Champions
• Line Manager training to ensure we can support staff with a mental health condition
For further details please contact email@example.com. We want everyone who works here to feel they can be open about their mental health, and ask for support if they need it. Please visit https://ncgintranet.com/mental-health-awareness/ for more information of where you can access help, support and information.
